Taiko Lessons

The Nikkei Cultural Society’s taiko group has been drumming for more than 10 years. Most of the songs we perform are based on traditional pieces from various regions in Japan. We practice all year except August. Special beginner classes are held, usually in September and January. If you are interested in learning Japanese-style drumming, contact NCS and we’ll email you when the next beginner classes are scheduled.
