JOIN NCS IKIGOMI!

We’re a new group and looking for more members to join! If you’re of Japanese descent and/or if you’re a young person interested in promoting Japanese culture in Lethbridge, we want to meet you!

Participation in events and planning is totally up to you and the time you want to commit! Join in planning meetings to help create and organize activities that you want to do in the future and help influence our direction. Suggest your ideas on how to improve NCS Ikigomi, or let us know what you think we’re doing right! You can exercise and develop your leadership, design, and communication skills to help build up your resume, or you can play to the strengths you’ve already developed during your work experience. We’d love to have you!

Help give back and become a friendly face in the community by volunteering for the Toban! The Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta gives us tremendous support by letting us use their facilities and equipment so help us return the favour by assisting with set-up and preparing refreshments and tea on Sundays every few months. **You do NOT have to be Buddhist to help out with the Toban, or be Buddhist at all to join NCS Ikigomi- everyone is welcome!!**

Just have fun and meet some new people! If planning events or volunteering for the Toban isn’t for you- No Problem! Come to the events you consider a fun time and find those you mesh with in the community, volunteer where you’re passionate and able to, and get involved to the extent that you’re comfortable with!

Becoming an NCS Ikigomi member is as easy as joining our Discord Server!
