Performances by

Deanna Oye and Peter Monaghan

A Stroll Through the 50s and 60s

Originally from Lethbridge, bass baritone Peter Monaghan recently returned from Vancouver where he completed graduate studies and commenced a burgeoning performance career, appearing on a recurring basis with Pacific Opera Victoria, Edmonton Opera, and in concert with the Calgary Philharmonic and Lethbridge Symphony Orchestras. He is joined by pianist and NCS President, Deanna Oye, a specialist in collaborative performance and Associate Professor of Piano in the U of L Department of Music. Our musical selections for Keirokai 2023 traverse a wide range of popular music from the 1950’s and 60’s that will bring back memories and make you want to sing along!
