NCS Events

We are famous for our annual New Year’s Celebration, but we also partner with and support other local events. This includes Bunkahashi Convention (now a part of NCS), Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens Winter Lights Festival, Mochitsuki and more.

New Year’s Party

We have had the pleasure of hosting an annual Japanese style New Year’s Party for the past several years now. Our committee works tirelessly to make this event perfect and memorable for everyone. It’s a great time to catch up with friends and just sit back and enjoy a lovely night of delicious food, fun entertainment and little bit of pampering.

Bunka Hashi

Bunka Hashi means cultural bridge in Japanese. 2019 was the first year this all-day event was held and it was a success. Individuals and families from all walks of life and distances came to geek out and enjoy a day of Japanese culture.

Nikka Yuko Japanese Gardens Winter Lights Festival

Thousands of carefully placed Christmas lights lit up the beautiful garden and we were there to support the festival.

Nikkei Seniors Health Care & Housing Society is working to reach out and provide support to Japanese Canadians displaced during the Second World War.
